This classic cocktail dates back to 1916 and is gorgeous tangy concoction that is very more-ish and easy to drink, so watch out!

Crème de Violette can be hard to track down so some recipes omit this ingredient.

INGREDIENTS

  • 40ml gin
  • 1tsp of Crème de Violette
  • 10ml Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Liqueur
  • 20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 10ml sugar syrup

HOW TO MAKE AN AVIATION

  • Shake all the ingredients together with ice and then strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
