You're after a gin with depth with slight herbaceous and gentle spice. Bright Night Gin is a complex gin from award-winning distiller Damien Mackey who created the recipe for Poltergeist gin.
Distilled in Tasmania, Bright Night Gin combines distinctive Tasmanian botanicals like mountain pepper berries, lemon myrtle and kunzea with traditional gin aromatics. It's a big gin - spicy, resinous from the juniper and herbaceous running to lolly sweetness at the back. It's a full bodied, viscous gin that also packs a gentle heat with hints of citrus and sweetness from liquorice.
The gin is left unfiltered. What this means is that the essential oils from the botanicals are retained, as a result of which the gin may go a little cloudy when it is mixed over ice.
