The lemon myrtle, desert lime and native thyme are the botanicals in the infusion that lead the citrus charge in the vermouth. After that, floral notes come through with the use of elderflower, grapefruit and chamomile. However, lest it is all too floral, lemongrass lends a herbaceous edge to balance it all.
As with all of Regal Rogue's vermouths, the Lively White marries 100% organic Australian wine with native herbs and spices. This particular vermouth for example, uses an organic Chardonnay as its base, which is fortified with neutral spirit. The wine is what lends a delicate fruitiness to the infusion. But that's not all - it also has a crisp acidity that plays well with the botanicals.
The result is a delightful fusion of citrusy and herbal notes that enliven the senses. It's an outstanding example of a refreshing vibrant vermouth with an Australian twist.
